ScreenWise Ann Arbor is an alliance of Ann Arbor parents, teachers, and community members created in Fall 2025.

Rather than feel powerless or get stuck in complaints (though we have a few!), we made a proposal to the AAPS school board.

We’re also taking our share of responsibility by

• Creating parent pacts to delay phones and social media until kids’ brains are ready.

• Being adults by offering loving boundaries and protection for our kids.

• Bringing greater wisdom to our own relationships with screens. With curiosity, not shaming.
